1. General

1.1. These general terms and conditions apply to all offers, orders, agreements, and giveaways from Wasdroom, located at De Tongelreep 1, 5616 AJ Eindhoven, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 80121381, hereinafter referred to as "Wasdroom."

1.2. By placing an order or participating in a giveaway, you indicate that you agree to these general terms and conditions. Wasdroom reserves the right to change these terms after the expiration of the term.

1.3 Wasdroom sells only washing machine cabinets and no washing machines.

2. Offers and agreements

2.1. All offers from Wasdroom are without obligation. A contract is concluded after acceptance of your order by Wasdroom.

2.2. Wasdroom reserves the right to refuse orders or assignments without giving reasons or to attach special conditions to the delivery.

3. Prices and payment

3.1. All prices listed are in euros, including VAT and excluding shipping costs, unless otherwise stated or agreed in writing.

3.2. Payment must be made within 14 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed. If the payment term is exceeded, you are automatically in default and Wasdroom is entitled to charge statutory interest and extrajudicial collection costs.

4. Delivery

4.1. Wasdroom aims to deliver products within 3 to 6 weeks after receipt of the order, unless another delivery period has been agreed upon.

4.2. If the delivery time is longer than indicated, you will be informed in a timely manner and have the right to cancel the order free of charge.

4.3. The stated delivery date is an indication.
Wasdroom strives to deliver on or around the agreed date. However, in exceptional cases, the delivery date may need to be postponed due to circumstances beyond Wasdroom’s control, such as logistical delays, carrier issues, or limited stock.
Wasdroom will inform the customer in a timely manner. A change in the delivery date does not entitle the customer to (damage) compensation, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

5. Returns and right of withdrawal

5.1. You have the right to cancel your order within 30 days of receipt without giving any reason. After cancellation, you have another 30 days to return the product.

5.2. Upon return, you will be credited the full order amount excluding shipping costs. The return shipping costs from your address to Wasdroom are free.

5.3. If the product is not in its original packaging or is damaged, a depreciation fee may be charged.

5.4. Wasdroom refunds the owed order amount within 14 days after your return notification, provided the product has been received in good condition.

6. Warranty and complaints

6.1. Wasdroom guarantees that the delivered products meet the usual requirements and standards and are free from defects.

6.2. Complaints about the execution of the agreement must be submitted fully and clearly described within 7 days via info@wasdroom.com.

6.3. Wasdroom responds to complaints within 14 days of receipt. If a complaint requires a longer processing time, you will receive an acknowledgment within 14 days with an indication of the handling period.

6.4. In case of disputes, you can contact the European ODR platform via https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr or for mediation via WebwinkelKeur via https://www.webwinkelkeur.nl/kennisbank/consumenten/geschil.

6.5. Additional costs from third parties hired by the customer
If the customer chooses to have products installed, fitted, or modified by their own hired installer or handyman, all related costs are fully the responsibility of the customer.
If after installation a part is found to be defective (e.g., legs, hinges, or other parts), Wasdroom will provide the replacement part free of charge according to the warranty conditions. Additional costs arising from hiring third parties, such as labor costs for disassembly, reinstallation, or waiting time, are not covered by Wasdroom.

6.6. Inspection before installation
The customer is required to inspect the product and all parts for visible damage or defects before installation. Any defects must be reported to Wasdroom before installation. If the product is installed despite a defect being present, this may affect warranty handling and any compensation.

6.7. Use in humid rooms
The cabinets from Wasdroom are resistant to humid conditions but are not waterproof. When the cabinet is placed in a damp room, such as a bathroom, laundry room, or basement, the customer must ensure adequate ventilation. This prevents the cabinet from being exposed to high humidity for extended periods. Adequate ventilation is considered to be an open window or mechanical ventilation combined with an open window. Damage caused by insufficient ventilation or prolonged exposure to moisture is not covered by the warranty.

6.8. Connection and water damage
If the customer or a third party engaged by the customer connects the washing machine cabinet and/or associated equipment, Wasdroom is not responsible for any damage resulting from this. This includes, but is not limited to, water damage caused by incorrect connection, leakage, or faulty installation. The customer bears full responsibility for a correct and safe connection.

 

7. Liability

7.1. Wasdroom is not liable for damage caused by the use of the product, unless there is intent or gross negligence on Wasdroom’s part.

7.2. Wasdroom is never obliged to pay compensation to the buyer or third parties, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

 

8. Force majeure

8.1. Wasdroom is not obliged to fulfill obligations towards the buyer if hindered by circumstances beyond its control, not attributable to fault, nor covered by law, legal acts, or prevailing views in commerce.

9. Applicable law and disputes

9.1. Dutch law exclusively applies to all legal relationships involving Wasdroom.

9.2. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Eindhoven district, unless mandatory law dictates otherwise.

10. Giveaway organizer

10.1. The giveaway is organized by Wasdroom, located at De Tongelreep 1, 5684 PZ Best, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 80121381, hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer."

11. Participation in giveaway

11.1. Participation in the giveaway is open to persons aged 18 and older, residing in the Netherlands and Belgium, unless otherwise stated.

11.2. Participation is free of charge and takes place by fulfilling the action conditions, as stated in the giveaway announcement (e.g., posting a photo, following an account).

11.3. Employees of Wasdroom and their immediate family members are excluded from participation.

11.4. The winner must claim the prize within 7 days of the announcement. If the winner does not do so, the organization reserves the right to award the prize to another participant.

 

12. Permission to use photos

12.1. By participating in the giveaway, the participant grants Wasdroom permission to use submitted photos, videos, or other materials shared by the participant for marketing and promotional purposes, including but not limited to posting on Wasdroom’s social media, websites, and other communication channels.

12.2. The participant declares that he/she is authorized to share the submitted materials and that these do not infringe on third-party rights, such as copyrights or portrait rights.

12.3. Wasdroom reserves the right to use, edit, or remove submitted materials at its discretion without prior notice.

13. Prizes giveaway

13.1. The prize of the giveaway is described in the promotion announcement. Prizes cannot be exchanged for money or other goods.

13.2. Wasdroom determines the winner(s) based on the stated terms and conditions. The result is final and not subject to correspondence.

14. Liability giveaway

14.1. Wasdroom is not liable for any damage or injury resulting from participation in the giveaway or the use of the prize.

14.2. Wasdroom reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the giveaway at any time without giving reasons.

15. Privacy giveaway

15.1. Personal data of participants is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

15.2. Participants agree that their name and/or submitted materials may be made public in connection with the giveaway.

16. Applicable law for giveaway

16.1. Dutch law applies to the giveaway and these general terms and conditions. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Eindhoven district.

18. Promotion ‘Free Cabinet’

18.1. The ‘Free Cabinet’ promotion is organized by Wasdroom, located at De Tongelreep 1, 5684 PZ Best, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 80121381.

18.2. Participation in the promotion is open to persons aged 18 and over, residing in the Netherlands or Belgium, unless otherwise stated.

18.3. Participation is free of charge and takes place by fulfilling the terms and conditions as stated in the promotion announcement.

18.4. The prize in the ‘Free Cabinet’ promotion consists solely of the cabinet provided by Wasdroom. This prize is non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash or vouchers, and can only be redeemed through Wasdroom’s webshop.

18.5. Wasdroom reserves the right to exclude a participant in case of suspected abuse, fraud, or violation of these terms.

18.6. The winner is chosen based on the stated terms and conditions of the promotion. The result is final and not subject to correspondence.

18.7. Wasdroom is not liable for any damage, costs, or injury resulting from participation in the promotion or the use of the won cabinet.
